The All Blacks Did Us Proud

CongratulationsCongratulations to the All Blacks! I felt so proud to be a kiwi on this momentous occasion not only because the boys won the Rugby World cup but for the incredible patriotism I felt leading up to the final. The event although about sport achieved what I believe to be a greater purpose in our nation. It united our beautiful homeland of Aotearoa and provided a talking point for everyone, thus breaking downs walls of division. Driving along the motorway, through the central city junctions you couldn't help but have a smile on your face as you saw multiple handwritten signs of support in the high rise office buildings saying 'Go the AB's'.

What an incredible year it has been for New Zealand, being a prominent figure on the world stage and showcasing New Zealand culture. The Rugby World Cup win along with the recent election has helped provide a sense of confidence and a renewed stability in our economy. Here's to a new and prosperous New Year in 2012, one which will hopefully see businesses move from strength to strength.

We would like to extend our congratulations to all the DFNZ clients and friends that have recently become engaged or married and what a busy few months it has been. We wish you all very the best for your future happiness together.

We now know first hand what it is like to attend a daughter's wedding and appreciate more than ever the wonderful experience, which makes all the hard work and preparation worthwhile.

Our Daughter Samantha, the face of diamondgirl™, married her true love, Dominik, on Friday 14th October 2011 at St Marks Church in Remuera.

The day was certainly one, which we will never forget. It was truly awesome, and the sun shone down on them. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make the day so perfect.

For more information on the wonderful team who made the day such a success, please visit our blog section.

Wedding Ring Winners

Congratulations to Jared and Sally from Christchurch on winning the wedding ring to the value of $2500.00.

Sally was elated that she and Jared had taken out the incredible prize of a gorgeous wedding ring.

Jared and Sally's story makes for an heart felt read:

"I met the man of my dreams at my first Salsa dance lesson when I was living in Nelson. After spending time together whilst we learnt how to dance we decided that it would be fun to go away for a weekend to Christchurch. The salsa scene is great there and we could go skiing at Mount Hutt too. What a weekend to choose, as it was the weekend of the September earthquake! We got out of the city as fast as we could to go skiing - what an awesome day - a metre of snow and no people! That was the day that I fell in love with Jared. 8 months later Jared proposed to me and I said yes! I can't wait to be Mrs Wallace."

Sally and Jared will be getting married on the
